The Shifting gears project

Shifting Gears was a film, an adventure, and a fundraiser all rolled into one. My friend and I decided to raise funds and awareness for the Syrian refugee crisis by cycling from Lisbon, Portugal to Istanbul, Turkey and we even managed to create a feature length mockumentary in the process.

We survived the trip in one piece, raised nearly $3,000 for Small Projects Istanbul, cycled over 7,000 kilometers, and here is the film we made en route.
